A Major Milestone for Prabhu Energy: NRCan Awards $3 Million to Advance Oxiperator Demonstration

We’re excited to share one of the biggest milestones in Prabhu Energy’s journey.

Prabhu Energy Alberta has been awarded $3 million in funding from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) through the Energy Innovation Program to support our $6 million demonstration project, Oxiperator - 99% Elimination of Methane Slip from Lean-Burn Engines.

This investment will help advance the demonstration of our Oxiperator technology, which is designed to eliminate up to 99% of methane slip from lean-burn natural gas engines. As governments and industry continue working toward meaningful emissions reductions, we’re proud to be developing practical technologies that can make an immediate impact.

The funding announcement was made on July 4 during an event celebrating Energy Innovation Program recipients. We were honored to join Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Tim Hodgson, for this exciting occasion. Representing Prabhu Energy Alberta at the event was President Billy Rideout, whose leadership has been instrumental in advancing our Canadian operations.
